More February 2014 Happenings

Just wanted to post a picture that shows that it is not all play!
Spare bedroom, drying rack, and a fan make a good laundry drying team!

This is my spot in the office.

Beautiful views from the temple grounds.

February 5th and 6th we drove around the entire island inspecting flats.
This is at the Tanoa International Hotel in Nadi

We passed this tree full of kids waiting for their turn
to swing on the rope onto the river!

This cute boy came running to the car shouting BUUUULAAAA!

Statues at the entrance of Ba Town depicting the friendship
between the Fijians and the Indians when they came together to
work in the sugar cane fields.

The beach at the Volivoli Resort.
We did not stay here, but checked it out for future use!

David stopped to harvest some sugar cane!

View from the Wananavu Resort!
It would be nice to stay here!

David's premiere in his sulu!  He is not too sure about wearing it!
However he says that women have had a corner on the market for a breeze!

David and his good friend, Elder Wells, premiere day wearing sulus!

Fiji had a visit from Elder and Sister Anderson.  A cultural event was held
in their honor.   Then they were presented with the distinguished gift
of a whales tooth.  We also had a mission conference and special
stake conference with them.

Pictures from the cultural celebration.
Kiritati Island Dance
